Local-first health data
WVP stores your vaccine records, family profiles, ID card images, allergies, and blood type in your browser's local storage. This data is not sent to our servers or shared with third parties unless you explicitly export a PDF or use an optional future cloud-backup feature.
Camera and photos
When you scan a vaccine box, document, or ID card, the image is processed by an AI service to extract text. The image is sent only for that purpose and is not retained by us after processing. You can also choose existing photos from your device instead of using the camera.
Location
We request location only when you use the Travel feature to find nearby travel-health clinics. Location data is used to look up providers and is not stored or tracked.
PDF exports
When you export a passport PDF, the file is generated entirely in your browser. You choose where to save or share it. We do not see the contents of the exported file.
Your control
You can edit or delete any person, record, or ID at any time from the Passport screen. Clearing your browser data for this site will remove all stored information.
